Sender document checklist
- Residents: check which valid Emirates ID and account-verification steps the selected channel requires. Keep your legal name and personal details consistent across the account and payment source.
- Visitors and non-residents: confirm eligibility and the accepted passport, visa or entry evidence with the service before visiting or registering. Acceptance at one branch does not establish app eligibility.
- Purpose and source of funds: have a clear explanation of the payment. Provide the relevant salary, bank, sale or other supporting record if requested for the transaction.
- For a business payment, use the service’s business onboarding and documentary process rather than presenting a commercial payment as family support.
Recipient details by receiving method
| Destination or method | Details to prepare |
|---|---|
| India bank deposit | Account-holder name, account number, branch IFSC and account type where requested. For a wire, obtain the receiving bank’s routing instructions. |
| Pakistan bank deposit | Recipient name and the IBAN or account identifier requested by the receiving route. IFSC is an Indian bank-branch identifier. |
| Wallet delivery | Registered wallet name and mobile/account identifier; confirm account status and receiving limits. |
| Cash collection | Recipient name matching the accepted ID, collection location and any contact details required by the service. |
| Foreign-currency bank wire | Recipient name/account, bank instructions, requested SWIFT/BIC or intermediary details, currency and payment purpose. |
Prevent a correction before sending
Ask the recipient to share their current bank or wallet details through a trusted channel. Read the confirmation screen together, especially account numbers and country codes. Avoid substituting an example routing code from a guide for the recipient’s own instructions.
Keep the quote, receipt and transfer reference. If an account detail is wrong, contact the sending service promptly using its official support channel.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send money from UAE without an Emirates ID?
Confirm the service’s non-resident eligibility and accepted identity documents before proceeding. Passport acceptance, visit status, channel access and limits are service-specific.
Do all transfers have the same document requirements?
Requirements depend on the sender profile, payment purpose, amount, funding source, destination and receiving method. The service may request supporting evidence for a particular transfer.
Is IFSC needed for a Pakistan transfer?
IFSC identifies an Indian bank branch. For Pakistan, obtain the account or IBAN details requested by the selected receiving route.
What documents prove the source of funds?
Use records that explain the actual funds being sent, such as relevant salary records, bank statements or sale documents, according to the service’s request.
