remit.ae does not sell your personal data. We do not store raw IP addresses. We use hashed identifiers for click analytics and anti-fraud purposes only.
remit.ae compares provider data for international money transfers from the UAE and links users to the selected provider checkout.
When you click an affiliate or provider link on remit.ae, we record:
Raw IP addresses and raw user agent strings are never stored. One-way hashed values support click deduplication and anti-fraud analytics without retaining the original identifiers.
We may collect standard web server logs (page paths, referrer URLs, response codes) for operational purposes. These are not linked to identifiable individuals.
remit.ae measures how its pages are used, and the honest summary is that one cookie is set for that purpose. Google Analytics runs with analytics storage granted, which means it places a first-party cookie in your browser whose job is to tell a returning visit from a new one. It supplies aggregate visitor and page-view counts. Advertising is a separate question, and the answer is no. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are held denied in Google’s consent settings on every page. No advertising identifier is set, no advertising audience is built from your visit, and nothing about you is exported to an ad network. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights set no cookies and hold no persistent identifier. Our own page telemetry keeps a random token for the duration of a single page view, in memory only — it is gone when the page closes and links no separate page views. We also count page views on our servers: that count records a date, a route family such as “amount page”, a device class and a number, with no IP address, no browser identifier and no page you personally visited. There is no cookie banner on this site. What is set is named here instead, in plain words, on a page you can read without dismissing anything. One further thing is stored, and it is not measurement. If you look at a corridor, your browser keeps the last corridor and amount you viewed, plus the time a “welcome back” message was last shown, so the site can offer to pick up where you left off. It is a preference, held in your own browser under the keys remit_last_search and remit_modal_shown_at. It contains no identifier, is never sent to us, and is not used for analytics or advertising. Clearing site data for remit.ae removes every item described here.
Affiliate click records are retained for up to 24 months for commission reconciliation purposes. Hashed identifiers are retained alongside click records for anti-fraud auditing. Aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely in anonymised form.
When you click through to a third-party provider (Wise, Remitly, etc.), their own privacy policy governs the data they collect. remit.ae is not responsible for third-party data practices.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. To make a data request, contact us at: remit.ae/contact. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We may update this policy as the site grows. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
