All sponsored content on remit.ae is clearly labeled “Sponsored.” Sponsored placements are entirely separate from our organic comparison results and do not affect provider rankings, data labels, or comparison accuracy.
What Is a Sponsored Placement?
A sponsored placement is a paid commercial arrangement where a remittance provider or UAE exchange house pays remit.ae to feature their listing in a designated sponsored area on the site. Sponsored placements may include:
- Featured sponsored provider cards in a clearly labeled “Sponsored” section on comparison results pages
- Sponsored provider profiles featuring promotional content provided by the sponsor
- Corridor sponsorships — featured placement within a specific corridor comparison page, labeled “Sponsored”
- Exchange-house guide sponsorship — sponsored content within a local exchange-house guide, labeled “Sponsored”
How Sponsored Content Is Labeled
All sponsored content on remit.ae is clearly labeled:
- The word “Sponsored” is prominently displayed on every sponsored unit
- A tooltip or explanatory link directs users to this Sponsored Disclosure Policy
Users will never see a sponsored placement without a clear “Sponsored” label.
How Sponsored Placements Do Not Affect Organic Results
Sponsored placements are entirely separate from our organic comparison results.
A provider that pays for a sponsored placement:
- Is not ranked higher in organic comparison results
- Is not scored differently in our comparison algorithm
- Is not displayed more frequently in organic results
- Is subject to the same data accuracy and freshness standards as all other providers
- Cannot purchase a “best,” “cheapest,” or “winner” label
Organic comparison results are ranked based solely on objective criteria: transfer fee, exchange rate (where verified data is available), delivery time, and payout options.
Current Sponsored Placements
No sponsored placements are currently active. This page will be updated when the first sponsored placement agreement is activated.
Exchange-House Indicative Rate Caveat
UAE exchange houses (Al Ansari Exchange, Lulu Exchange, Al Fardan Exchange, and others) may appear as sponsored providers on the site. Where exchange-house rate data is displayed:
- Rates are always labeled as indicative board rates — not guaranteed transactional quotes
- The label “Indicative rate — visit branch to confirm” is applied to all exchange-house rate data
- Sponsored placement does not affect the indicative label or the data accuracy standards applied to exchange-house data
Advertising Standards Compliance
Sponsored content on remit.ae is disclosed in compliance with applicable standards, including:
- UAE consumer information and advertising standards
- FTC guidelines on sponsored content (applicable to US-targeted content)
- UK ASA/CAP rules on paid-for content (applicable to UK-targeted content)
- Requirements of applicable affiliate networks and advertising platforms
