What We Do

remit.ae is an independent editorial comparison platform for UAE expatriates and residents who send money internationally. We provide free, data-driven comparisons of exchange rates, transfer fees, delivery times, and payout methods across CBUAE-licensed providers — including exchange houses such as Al Ansari Exchange, LuLu Exchange, GCC Exchange, Al Fardan Exchange, and digital apps including Wise, Remitly, WorldRemit, and Western Union.

Our platform covers 25+ AED corridors with a focus on the highest-volume routes: AED to INR (UAE to India), AED to PKR (UAE to Pakistan), AED to PHP (UAE to Philippines), AED to BDT (UAE to Bangladesh), and AED to EGP (UAE to Egypt). Rate data is updated every 15 minutes where API sources are available.

remit.ae does not transfer money or hold funds. We are not a money transmitter and are not licensed as a financial services provider. We compare providers that are CBUAE-licensed and regulated. All rankings are based on transparent methodology — no provider pays to rank first, and no provider can purchase a "best" or "winner" label.

remit.ae Launches as UAE's Independent Money Transfer Comparison Platform

Free, data-driven platform helps UAE's 9 million expatriates compare AED exchange rates across 15+ CBUAE-licensed providers

DUBAI/WYOMING, June 2026 — remit.ae, an independent financial comparison platform, today announced the launch of its UAE money transfer comparison service. The platform provides UAE residents and expatriates with free, real-time comparisons of exchange rates, transfer fees, and delivery times across CBUAE-licensed providers including Al Ansari Exchange, LuLu Exchange, GCC Exchange, Wise, Remitly, and Western Union.

Unlike paid directory sites, remit.ae operates on an editorial-first model: no provider pays to appear in search results, and no provider is ranked "best" without transparent methodology. The platform covers 25+ AED corridors including AED to INR (UAE to India), AED to PKR (UAE to Pakistan), and AED to PHP (UAE to Philippines).

"UAE sends over $43 billion in remittances annually, yet most expat workers have no easy way to compare their options before sending," said the remit.ae team. "We built this platform to give every UAE resident the same information that sophisticated financial professionals use — for free."

The platform is independent of all money transfer operators and is not licensed as a money transmitter. remit.ae does not transfer funds; it compares providers that do.
